High Current Sources
- comming soon
Current Injection Trolleys are used for high current testing of Air Circuit Breakers, Vacuum Circuit Breakers, SF6 Circuit Breakers and other high current devices to verify their current breaking characteristics. The trolleys are of two types: Primary Injection Trolleys and Secondary Injection Trolleys. Primary Injection Trolleys have a specially designed high current source to inject actual breaking current of the order of 1000 Amps in to the Circuit Breaker (line current as experienced by the CB) to checked if the Circuit Breaker opens (trips). While secondary injection trolleys check the working of the relay circuit of the Circuit Breaker by injecting a downscaled value of current (much less than 1000 A) into the secondary of the current transformer of the relay circuit in the circuit breaker.
Salient Features of the Current Injection Trolleys:
- Short time current capability: 10000 Amps
- Single as well as three phase operation possible
- Portable Trolley allowing field testing
- Input supply: 415V two phase with MCB protection
- Digital Voltmeter: 3-1/2 digit (0 – 500 V AC)
- Digital Ammeter : 3-1/2 digit (0 – 100%)
- Variac for Current adjustment
- Test time indicator with four ranges
- Five CT ranges for selecting the test Current
- Indicator lamps : Power ON, Output ON, Overload
These are customized voltage sources of variable output voltage, generally with a voltage range from 0 to 1000 V for various applications (The range can be extended if required). They contain a meticulously designed power (voltage) source capable of supplying the rated voltage and current.
Salient Features of the AC/DC Voltage Source:
- 100% customized design
- In built voltmeter and ammeter for accurate measurement and display
of voltage and current
- Can be servo controlled for accurate voltage output (against poor
line regulation)
- AC/DC operation possible in a single panel
- Single, two phase and three phase application possible
- Excellent low cost option for typical applications
Typical applications of the AC/DC Voltage Source:
- To check switchboard panels and circuit breakers by injecting rated
voltage
- Contactors testing: To check pick up / drop off voltage, pick up
current
- To check Potential Transformers used in switchboards and other
applications
- Any applications wherein variable voltage of typical value is
required
Electrical loads are nothing but resistive, inductive and/or capacitive load banks meant to simulate real world conditions with respect to voltage, current and power factor that the switches or sockets under test are subjected to. Over the years SCR ELEKTRONIKS have developed empirical knowledge of designing iron core and air core inductors expertise to supply customer requirements of loads with a considerable degree of accuracy.
Salient Features of electrical loads:
- Power factor range from 0.2 lag to zero; And 0.6 lead to zero
- Servo controlled operation deliverable wherever necessary for fine
tuning (greater accuracy)
- Current up to 100 A. The range can be extended further if required
- Voltage up to 415 V. The range can be extended further if required
- Iron core as well as air core inductor design possible
- Decades long experience in designing cooling system of loads as well
as derating
- Low cost solutions available wherever necessary
Typical applications of the AC/DC Voltage Source:
- To check switchboard panels and circuit breakers by injecting rated
voltage
- Contactors testing: To check pick up / drop off voltage, pick up
current
- To check Potential Transformers used in switchboards and other
applications
- Any applications wherein variable voltage of typical value is
